Meet Angie Wagar 

Angie Wagar has spent her entire legal career serving the people of Acadia Parish—fighting for families, protecting victims, and holding offenders accountable.

Born and raised in Rayne, Angie returned home after law school to begin a lifetime of service to her community. For the past 30 years, she has served as an Assistant District Attorney, handling every juvenile delinquency and child protection case in the parish. Her work has helped children escape abuse, reunite families, and bring healing through justice.

 

Angie isn’t running for this office to coast into retirement—she’s stepping up to do the work. As District Judge, she’ll bring the same grit, preparation, and fairness that have defined her entire career.

 

She knows the law. She knows the people. And she knows how to make our courts work better—for everyone.
